Probationary Volunteers

Who is a probationary volunteer? A probationary volunteer is someone who has applied to volunteer, had an interview with the manager of Makerspace or the Volunteer Coordinator, completed a Volunteer Induction and is ready to begin shifts at Makerspace.

Probationary volunteers are required to complete a total of 30 hours in the space, being supervised by a non-probationary volunteer, over a minimum of 1 month. Once the probationary volunteer is confident in their role at Makerspace they can be put on the volunteer roster to commence unsupervised Makerspace shifts.
