Overview
In the interest of workplace relations, and communication, the following policy governs communication between all volunteers of Makerspace Adelaide. This policy is in place to help eliminate conflict in regards to changes or improvements made to the space.
Internal Communication
As a volunteer-run business, communication is key to our operations. Communication between the Operations Team and the core volunteer group utilises a variety of mediums including, but not limited to: Email, social media, Microsoft Teams and more.
The Operations Team has a duty to general volunteers to keep them informed of activities and changes in the space that directly impact them. This can include things like: Changes to payment or paperwork procedures, changes to infrastructure within the space, upcoming events, and more.
General volunteers have a duty to others, and the Operations Team to keep track of activities and changes they see within the space. They must also inform the Operations Team of any concerns or issues they see arising in the space.
“There’s no such thing as ‘too much communication’”
External communication
