  • When directed to do so by site supervisor (building warden) OR volunteers to evacuate, you must immediately evacuate the building by the closest
  • Proceed to the nearest exit if it is safe to do so, please follow the exit signage
  • Proceed to the assembly point, directly opposite Makerspace Adelaide, the gravel area behind the Electric Car recharging stations in Franklin St.
  • DO NOT GO HOME from here without informing Makerspace Adelaide staff.
  • Do not re-enter the building until directed by the site supervisor or emergency authorities attending the scene.
  1. Alert others in the immediate area and the Site Supervisor
  2. Dial 000 and ask for Fire Brigade
  3. When alarm is raised, progress toward the nearest emergency exit – or as directed by a building warden.

The provided equipment is for use on minor fires only. Before using a fire extinguisher, read the instructions to ensure it is appropriate for the type of fire. It would be a good idea to do this even when there is no fire.
