Alcohol Consumption Policy

This policy applies to all Makerspace volunteers, regardless of their role within the space.

Overview

In the interest of safety for volunteers and members, this policy dictates the consumption of alcohol both in and around Makerspace Adelaide.

Alcohol on-site at Makerspace Adelaide

Alcohol is to never be consumed on-site at Makerspace Adelaide. This policy applies to all persons, including volunteers, members, casual users and public guests.

Use of the space while under the influence of alcohol

No person is to use the space if under the influence of alcohol. If any person is visibly affected by alcohol, volunteers have the right to refuse them entry to Makerspace Adelaide. If a volunteer, member, casual user or public guest enters and uses Makerspace Adelaide while affected by alcohol, they will receive an immediate ban.
