If you'd like to run a workshop at Makerspace Adelaide, please complete the following items, and submit them to the Events & Workshops Coordinator for Review (events@makerspaceadelaide.org)

• Workshop Application Form
  • Plan for the workshop, including duration of session(s)
  • Materials/equipment needed
  • Risk Assessment
  • Expected budget information
• 100 word summary of what the workshop is about
• Photographs summarising the workshop for marketing
• List of facilitators, or helpers needed to run the workshop

If there is an event utilising Makerspace Adelaide facilities, the volunteer in charge of opening the building up should follow these guidelines.

• Assist speaker or organiser in getting setup
• Ensure guests are signing in upon arrival

• Acknowledge the traditional owners of the land (refer to website for wording)
• Introduce the volunteers helping with the event
• Location and path to the toilets
• First aid location
• Fire exits and assembly point
• Kitchen facilities
