Kitchen Facilities and Etiquette

We have cutlery, glasses, mugs and utensils for you to use if you so desire. If you do use any of our kitchenware, please wash them under the tap with the dishwasher scrubber provided. Once washed, leave them on the drainage tray and one of our volunteers will put them through the dishwasher. Please do not put dirty kitchenware directly into the dishwasher.

The kitchen sink is only for use for cleaning kitchenware. Please do not use this area to wash your hands or anything other than kitchenware. If you would like to wash your hands, please use the toilets. If you would like to wash anything else (eg: project parts) please use the tap in the workshop area.

We provide tea, instant coffee, and hot chocolate drinks to all on-site. There may also be some biscuits in the cookie jar. These are all provided for free, but a donation is very much appreciated if you are using them. There is an urn above the sink which is available to use for your hot drinks.

You may put you lunch or drink in the fridge, under the agreement that you will remove them by end of day. Any food or drink left in the fridge for longer than two days will be thrown away.
